Life Outside of the Hospital

As would be expected of me, I have already started the search of hot spots in Kampala.  On Friday some of the other program participants and I made our way to Emin Pasha.  It's a pretty swanky boutique hotel with a candle-lit lounge with couches and stylish decor.  The band that was there, Qwela (qwelamusic.com), put on a great show with some R&B covers (Sade, Ne-Yo, Kool and the Gang) as well as Ugandan music. They may be my new Soul Rebels.
